These raw materials themselves have good dispersibility and processing properties, laying a solid foundation for subsequent particle size control. Before the raw materials enter the production line, we conduct strict screening and pretreatment to remove impurities and ensure the purity and consistency of the raw materials. This is the first step in particle size control.
The key to particle size control of powder coatings lies in the crushing and grading process. We have highly automated crushing equipment, which effectively achieves a narrow particle size distribution by precisely controlling the crushing time and speed, and using multi-stage crushing and screening technology. In addition, we have introduced advanced airflow pulverization technology, which uses high-speed airflow to impact and shear the material to achieve a micronization effect while maintaining the uniformity of the particle morphology.
Particle size detection is a key link in particle size control. We are equipped with high-precision particle size analysis instruments, such as the Mastersizer 3000E laser particle size analyzer, which can accurately measure and count the particle size distribution of the coating, including key indicators such as D10, D50, and D90. According to the test results, we timely adjust the pulverization process parameters, such as feed rate, pulverization chamber pressure, etc., until the ideal particle size range is reached. This process is dynamic, ensuring the consistency and stability of the product particle size.
Our production line is equipped with 34 semi-automatic production lines and German ZEPPELIN bonding machines. These equipment not only improve production efficiency, but more importantly, they are designed with full consideration of the characteristics of powder coatings to ensure the accuracy and stability of particle size control during the production process. The ZEPPELIN bonding machine further improves the physical properties and particle size uniformity of the coating with its excellent mixing uniformity and ability to protect the particle structure.
We have established a complete quality assurance system, and every step from raw materials entering the factory to finished products leaving the factory is strictly inspected. In addition to particle size control, we also conduct comprehensive tests on key performance indicators such as hardness, toughness, adhesion, gloss, and corrosion resistance of the coating to ensure that each batch of products meets the highest standards. SHIMADZU XRF is used for elemental analysis to ensure the accuracy of raw material composition; Datacolor 400 is used for color management to ensure color consistency and accuracy.
