Weathering test of outdoor powder coatings
Artificial accelerated aging test (such as QUV/Q-SUN test): This is a method of simulating natural light and humidity environment to accelerate the aging of coatings. Temperature cycle test: Simulate the temperature difference between day and night, and evaluate the thermal stress tolerance of the coating through repeated heating and cooling to ensure that it can still maintain good physical and chemical properties under extreme temperature changes.
Xenon lamp aging test: Using xenon lamps to simulate full-spectrum sunlight, combined with temperature and humidity control, more comprehensively simulates the outdoor aging process and evaluates the comprehensive weather resistance of the coating.
Natural exposure test: Although it takes a long time, directly exposing the coating sample to a specific outdoor environment, such as deserts, polar regions, tropical rainforests and other extreme climate areas, is the most direct way to evaluate its long-term weather resistance.
